These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ConvertFast website, desktop application, downloads, license keys, support, and related services. ConvertFast is operated by Convertfast.co ("ConvertFast", "we", "our", or "us"). By using or purchasing ConvertFast, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility and Acceptance
You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian, to use or purchase ConvertFast. If you use ConvertFast on behalf of a company or organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. What ConvertFast Provides
ConvertFast is a desktop-first file conversion and compression application. It is designed to process files locally on your device for supported formats and workflows. Website pages, documentation, format guidance, pricing pages, purchase links, and support materials are provided as part of the service.
3. License
When you purchase ConvertFast, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to download, install, and use the application for your own personal or internal business use, subject to these Terms and the purchase terms shown at checkout.
Unless your purchase page states otherwise, each purchase allows up to two license redemptions, and each redemption may be used on one device. We may use license activation, purchase verification, or similar systems to prevent abuse.
4. Purchases, Delivery, and Refunds
Purchases are processed by our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy. Prices, taxes, discounts, supported currencies, and payment methods are shown during checkout.
ConvertFast is a digital product. Once access, download, or a license key is delivered, purchases are generally final and non-refundable unless required by law or expressly stated in a written refund policy shown at checkout. If you experience a technical issue, contact support so we can help resolve it.
5. Updates and Availability
We may provide updates, fixes, compatibility changes, or new features. We may also change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the website, purchase flow, or application when needed for maintenance, security, legal compliance, or product development. Lifetime access, where offered, means access under the supported product and licensing model for the life of the product, not a guarantee that every feature, platform, or integration will remain unchanged forever.
6. Your Responsibilities
- Use ConvertFast only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws.
- Make sure you have the rights needed to convert, compress, or modify any files you process.
- Keep backups of important files before running conversions or compression workflows.
- Protect your license key, purchase account, and device from unauthorized use.
- Do not use ConvertFast to infringe intellectual property, distribute malware, or harm others.
7. Restrictions
- Do not resell, redistribute, rent, lease, sublicense, or transfer ConvertFast or your license key.
- Do not remove copyright, trademark, license, or proprietary notices.
- Do not bypass license activation, usage limits, security systems, or purchase verification.
- Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the application except where applicable law allows it.
- Do not use automated scraping, abuse, or attack methods against our website, checkout, or support systems.
8. Privacy and Data
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information. By using ConvertFast, you also agree to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Intellectual Property
ConvertFast, including the application, website, branding, design, text, graphics, code, and related materials, is owned by ConvertFast or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of ConvertFast to you.
10. Digital Signatures and Downloads
ConvertFast application executables may be digitally signed to help verify that the software has not been altered after distribution. You should download ConvertFast only from official ConvertFast purchase or download channels.
11. Third-Party Services
ConvertFast may link to or integrate with third-party services such as payment processors, analytics providers, advertising platforms, hosting providers, and operating system services. We are not responsible for third-party websites, policies, products, or services.
12. Disclaimers
ConvertFast is provided "as is" and "as available" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that every conversion will preserve every file attribute, that output files will meet every third-party requirement, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. You are responsible for checking output files before relying on them.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ConvertFast and its owners, developers, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost business, or file corruption arising from or related to your use of ConvertFast.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to ConvertFast, license activation, downloads, or support if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, create legal risk, or attempt to bypass licensing or security controls. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and may provide additional notice, such as by email or a notice on the website. Continued use of ConvertFast after the updated Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law rules, unless the laws where you live require otherwise.
